Insane value for money. Great free breakfast. Free alcohol hours in the evening were amazing and the overall vibe of the hostel was so nice - social and friendly, but not party and nothing was forced if you weren’t into that. Good food choices with decent prices. Beds and bathroom clean and comfy. Beds cleaned everyday we were there. Yes the location is outside of Cat Ba town but we loved this, rent mopeds and explore the island, we went into town and didn’t feel like we were missing anything.

It’s far from the central part of the island, and if you don’t ride a scooter is a bit hard to move around as grab doesn’t work. It’s a party hostel, which id love to know before booking
