Avoid if you can. When they realised how unhappy I was staff made efforts to support me, but I still cannot recommend the place. Mould in the dorm in the ceiling and on the beds. No info about bus, train or grab available, they push you to hire a private car + guide. Far from everything. Airco in room, but no ventilation in the rest of hostel, very stuffy. Lots of musquitoes even during day.

The owners and family who runs this hostel are very kind. Facilities are great and they even have a bar and a restaurant in case you want to eat something or listen to live music. The hostel however is far from downtown which can be an inconvenient if you don't have a vehicle. In any case, a motorbike or a car is almost indispensable if you are planning to visit Phatthalung as the town itself doesn't have much. In any case, a big thank to all the staff in the hostel.
