I really don’t understand the hype. Maybe the hostel was better a few years ago. The room got quite hot during the day so we had to have the window open, but right outside there was a fan which made a loud noise throughout the day. The bathroom was not very clean and worn out. It was difficult/impossible to lock the door and only one bathroom per dorm. The roof was leaking. The swimming pool had garbage in it. It was too big for it to be social. They mixed up our beds when our roommates left.

it's a huge hostel with 8 floors and the top floor has a bar. Kind of hard to know who's staying in the hostel and who's there for the bar so it's hard to meet people. Not the friendliest vibes and the kitchen was a mess. Some pros though really good private pods in the dorms. I'd say it's a good place if you want a base in Medellin but not really somewhere to hang out and socialise.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very clean and the food is nice, we got free breakfast and the options were good! There is a pool and bar on the roof and a cafe downstairs. The area seemed nice and safe to walk around with lots of bars and restaurants and it is within walking distance to the metro station. We would recommend staying here.
