This place was interesting, the best part was the spacious dorm rooms but apart from that the staff weren’t attentive, the shower/ bathroom situation was so annoying as there was only 2 for all the dorms (like 20+ people) so was a nightmare to use. The kitchens locked in the morning so if u want a coffee your literally not allowed. There’s like 1000 rules and you have to pay for everything extra.

I liked hostel Dragonfly but found the staff to be a little bit rude and with strange strict policies. I arrived early because I had taken a night bus and was made to wait outside the property on the street until 8am, and then let in to wait in the reception until 12pm I was then charged extra for showering an hour before check in as I’m “technically not a guest” - also paid extra for stain removal laundry which came back stained.

The hostel itself is really nice: the beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious and the garden was nice to hang out in. However, the staff was a bit rude and harsh on their policies. We heard various stories about people not being able to enter the hostel after a night bus or people being told off when helping others. Also, in our room, it was clear that there was a lot of water buildup in the ceiling. Despite this, the hostel was a good place to meet other people!
