Top top hostel, been to more than 40 throughout my travels and this is genuinely one of my favourites! It is super sociable without being overbearing, facilities are great and the staff and owner will do anything to help you. There was once i even went to watch a football game at a (VERY) local hut with him! Makes me want to return to nairobi again hahaha

I think the ratings for this hostel are a bit high. The location is pretty good but the social side leaves a lot to be desired. The only social area is the reception which has a serious lack of cushions. My main problem was the rooms which were very small, the beds were too short and the room was too hot. They really need mosquito nets and fans. Staff were just a bit absent the whole time. Overall it's ok
