Venus Harbourside - FEMALE ONLY

Pro: close to light rail station Cons: no staff, no luggage storage, cramped room, toilets in the corridor don't have locks, the only common areas are a tiny kitchen and the rooftop, reasonably clean but so old and worn it's hard to tell

No reception/staff at this hostel can only communicate through the app. Arrived & room was a mess, covered with peoples things that looked like they were living there. Pictures are not a true reflection of what the rooms look like especially the bathroom it was disgusting & so dirty. My allocated locker was also taken by someone else and no spare lockers. Messaged staff who said they would fix & literally nothing changed. Not a welcoming atmosphere and very loud in the area. Don’t stay here.

very clean, comfortable, safe. beds really comfy. the one bad thing is the kitchen hot plates (no stove) don’t work well. but there’s an air fryer, toaster, microwave.
