We had a really nice stay!! The location was great and I had the best sleep I’ve had in months there. The entire area often experiences water shortages and we dealt with one during our stay. No problem, because it’s just the reality but maybe I would recommend bringing wipes to future guests so you can get the sand from the beach off!

We had a wonderful stay in the Watermelon House. It's a perfect Hostel to get to know other people and a good base to explore the beautiful surroundings of Samana. Bartousz is a great host and very helpful if you need any information about Samana. I can definitely recommend to stay here!

This hostel is great! It had everything I needed, comfy bed and a decent bathroom. The hostel is also walking distance from everything. Not to mention there is a great atmosphere in the hostel, both with other travelers and the host. Dodley (the host) is super friendly and will help you with anything you might need. Basically, I had an amazing time at The Watermelon House and would 100% recommend.
