Basil Hostel was in a great location close to the airport and right by the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. It was also in walking distance to a lot of food spots and stores. As an American solo traveler I felt overwhelmingly welcomed by everyone at the hostel! I was able to meet travelers from all over the Middle East, and I was even given free food and drinks multiple nights in a row. I would recommend staying here!
