Tiki Hostel is close to everything. Being near the Riobamba terminal, in the first constituent we are a few blocks from the center and close to the party area, restaurants and banks.

A hostel is a more fun type of accommodation with more facilities for young people. We stand out in having Wifi in all facilities. Here you can rent only the bed at the cheapest price, sharing the room with other travelers in a mixed dormitory, only for men or women, which makes it ideal for backpackers traveling in groups or solo travelers.

Also, if you are a young couple, here you can rent the cheapest or charming rooms to delight your better half with a special night. All our private rooms have a Smart plasma TV where you can watch YouTube or Netflix and have a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub.

We have a kitchen so you can prepare food while saving money. We have work centers for executives or digital nomads who work remotely.

Tiki Hostel is also your starting point to visit the tourist attractions of the region. You cannot miss tourist attractions in Ecuador, Chimborazo and the Yellow Lagoon in the top 10 in Ecuador, we offer guided, bicycle and summit tours.

We have several spaces for recreation and to meet and share with other travelers. We have activities so you don't get bored such as free salsa classes, a welcome drink and a FREE tour of the historic center are some of them.

I’d give this 3 of 5 stars. The good: Convenient location Comfortable bed Friendly volunteer host Low price The disappointments: Payment: Info says credit card accepted, but when I arrived, I was told only cash. We eventually sorted it out, but it took a while. Towels: Didn’t get one until late in the evening Drinking water: Not until the next day Shower: sometimes hot/sometimes not Bicycles: none were functional throughout my stay General ambiance: rundown Note to owner:consider a bath

Dirty! We found toenail clippings in our bed and the sheets were visibly dirty, they had stuff smeared on them. The shower was pretty gross too. That being said, it was a cheap place to stay. The staff was very nice and let us have a late checkout, but also said they could not call us a taxi or help carry bags. If cleanliness was better, this would be a good spot!

Our stay was disappointing. We arrived with a reservation, but no one was there to check us in. After waiting, we found the hostel in poor condition: the sheets were visibly dirty, with hair and makeup, even after replacements, and the kitchen had ants. The owner, Max, was rude, even hanging up on us. Though his employee, Eddi, was kind and tried to help. We eventually received a refund as we chose to leave early because the poor experience. I hope the hostel makes improvements for future guest
