I will probably visit back, this hostel is isolated but the owner provides a free transfer both go from and back to the train station even if you’re alone , river is so nice that can swim even in midnight , just downside the hostel , wild feeling when getting into water. The feeling is different from normal other hostels in Japan , Worth of your visiting .

Scout is an amazing host. He provides free shuttle to the hostel and options to get breakfast and dinner. I absolutely reccomand this place ! The vibe was really nice

The hostel is a bit isolated but in a nice spot by a river. Staff organise shuttles for guests in the morning, really helpful for getting into Nikko. They also offer tasty meals for an additional price. The hostel itself is pretty standard with a nice Japanese flare to it. It can be a bit noisy depending on guests and there are a lot of bugs around, but that's to be expected when you're out in nature. Overall, I slept well and enjoyed my stay, and I'd recommend it to other backpackers.
