Hostal La Casa de Paco

For the price, this has been a really good place to stay. The staff have all been very helpful and someone is always around, facilities are clean and well looked after. And there's breakfast! It has been cold at night, but it is December up in the mountains so that can't be helped. Staff also arranged day trips for a good price, and my ongoing journey to Guatemala. Would stay again!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! we thought this place would be fantastic giving its very high rating. No idea how they got a rating this high. Booked a private and was given a dorm with nobody else in it instead? The kitchen bedroom and bathrooms were all dirty but most of all we were the ONLY people staying here ? No atmosphere what so ever. Was very weird vibes in a far away part of town from the centre and just overall felt uncomfortable. We stayed 1 night out of the 3 we booked and left. Don’t recommend

The coils in the bed pressed against my back, making it uncomfortable to sleep. There was no hot water, and there weren’t enough showers and toilets. The kitchen equipment was old, and the stove’s flame was weak. The lockers are wooden and old, and the locks were difficult to use. It was kind of them to let us in during breakfast time, but while the Brazilian guests who arrived at the same time received breakfast, we were refused.
