I really liked staying here. Especially if you want to get away from regular backpackers and meet more Spanish speaking people. The salsa classes here were great and the staff were amazing. Great location too

I have stayed at all three main hostels in Cali: La Palmera, Viajero, and La Sucursal and La Sucursal does rank the lowest from the others. It appears to be significantly older and dirtier - especially the common bathrooms and showers. Try to get an ensuite bathroom room to make your experience a bit better. They offer dance classes but they do not have a real dance room, it is in the common area. The shower doors are quite small so a tall man could easily pass by and see you showering.

not the best hostel I'm afraid. didn't feel secure. Lock on the private room barely worked, the window on to the open corridor was totally insecure.bathroom was full of mold. Front desk staff were not very welcoming and the most helpful I have encountered in hostels in Colombia. The front door (buzzer controlled for security) was often left open and I didn't see anyone challenged upon entry so anyone could have walked in off the street and been in the dorms.
