The Lost Boys

Amazing hostel! Very social without the massive party vibe. Felt very much at home and welcomed in the hostel. The food is amazing and all the staff are so friendly! Please stay here!!

Pros: Great location - it’s a couple of mins from the port and is a couple of meters from the beach. Staff - all staff were really welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere- was pretty good. They make an effort to put something on each evening and I met some cool people at the hostel. Food and drinks - reasonably priced and decent quality. Rooms - stuff felt safe and room was clean. Cons: AC: needs to be turned down in the rooms. It was so hot at night.

Private room is an embarrassment (no air con, animals everywhere, mosquitos non stop). The 3 volunteer girls spent more time hungover and doing their own thing treating the place as a resort instead of creating a fun atmosphere with the travelers. I was there several nights and there was no social activity at all (the only one they planned got cancelled). The crowd the hostel attracts is very hippie borderline junky. Just the Local staff was very nice.
