The main reason I'm giving this hostel a poor review is due to the unprecedented demand for money (10USD) to stay in common areas after checkout. This was not declared in the hostel information and has never happened in the 100s of hostels and hotels I've stayed at over the years. I also felt like I was intruding someone's home, especially so given we have to beg for access every time we return (no key is given). It wasn't all bad. The room was nice, great shower and decent kitchen.
