I had a really bad experience at Selina Playa. We woke up in the morning and there was a flood all over the room. Our bags and suitcases got wet because of the floods. The stuff didn’t let us talk with the manager and they had only give us 65% on this night which is nothing according to the damages we had in the room. After this situation they didn’t even clean our room or change sheets for 3 days. This hostel is so expensive and not worth the money at all. I don’t recommend it!

We have stayed in many Selinas, but some aspects of this place didn't live up to their standards. Staff was super nice and helpful reacting to bedbugs in our room and did everything they could to make our stay as good as possible. Location is top, but they have to pay more attention to cleanliness.

Unfortunately, it was a not the nice place I was expecting. The room was spacious, but my bedsheets were dirty and the bathroom was dirty, too. They just clean it when you ask for it - even the toilet paper bag. You have to ask for everything. The kitchen is also very dirty and it smelled bad. If you sleep in a dorm the money isn’t worth it. The location is amazing and the restaurant is pretty good. The staff needs a lot time. But they are friendly. I can’t recommend as a solo traveller.
