The hostel is not anything special, pretty average but it's located in one of the best spots in Berlin. It's also amazingly cheap compared to other hostels. Better value for money than this hostel is hard to get.

We have payed too much for such a place, with unclosed bathrooms and no places to hang our clothes during shower. Saison didn't help, 31st December is always expensive, but it was not worthy.

The Internet is bad even in common areas. The bathrooms have no privacy. If there is someone taking a shower next to you, this person can see you naked. I had to pay 3.50 for the bed sheet.

I payed a little bit more for a city's tax

The shower does not have locked door or curtain, some showers we need to press the button in order it works a couple of seconds, staff are very rude if you have a problem and ask for their help, people smoke a lot close to windows (sometimes even inside the buiding), some toilets are not properly clean, it is necessary to pay for pillowcase, sheets, etc, wifi does not work very well inside room, 4 floors and no elevator for customers. It is not in city centre but it is close to a train station

Even on New Year's Eve the atmosphere was pretty bad

Does not feel like a hostel at all, feels like a very bad hotel. The stuff seem to not like their jobs and they charge for bed sheets...? (which was not even mentioned anywhere before I booked. They want to charge for everything, period). Snacks are over priced and the bathrooms are communal. There are absolutely no outlets to be found. there is only one outlet in the rooms, right by the light next to the dorm, which no-one can reach. People are traveling and need to charge their devices........

The hostel was nice and we had a good stay in general, the location was pretty good, close to the metro and just a few minutes with metro to the center. However I'm disappointed, i.e. due to security, so while I was showering, someone just opened the door, poor security, no possibilites for locking the door. Also few possibilities for charging elevtrical devices in the room. We lived in a 8 persons room, and had only 3 places for charging our phones in example. Friendly staff, good service.

Very responsible hostel...

The room was fine and in the common area there is no atmosphere whatever. It was the same depressing music over and over again.Staff was nice and helpful. You can'watch TV in living room, but only one sport channel broadcasting the same staff every day. You need to listen a same music every day.

Showers for women were closed (it haven't doors anyway to each cabine, or even curtains in men showers) one of our bed linen was dirty. When we arrived, we charged an extra 3.50euros for linen even though there wasn't any information about that (and also a receptionist at the beginning said 2.50euros when we came there but charged 3,50). The wifi wasn't that great. However not a far walk to the train station. the room was comfortable. All hostel quite quiet.

Didn't realise that we would have to pay an additional 3.50 euros for clean sheets. Definitely didn't realise that the showers were kind of communal. You have no privacy to wash. The room was fine though and the staff were quite helpful. The pool table was a nice addition and the beer was cheap so we managed!

If your just looking for a place to sleep a couple of nights then this place is good for just that. Otherwise avoid this place if you can when I arrived i was charged an extra 3.50euros for linen even though it's included in the price when I booked. The room was fine but no outlets if your of the top bunk and in the common area there is no atmosphere whatever. Also change the music everytime I went in there it was the same depressing music over and over again.

I don't understand why this hostels kitchen is so small, the showers have no doors or why the room keys stop working every other day. But most of all; I don't understand why don't they keep the dining room open (even a section of it) so that people who have finished cooking can go downstairs and eat their meal in some form of civilised/comfortable environment. None-the-less, the rooms were comfortable, staff were friendly (although under-trained), the hostel was in a great location, free-wifi

Clean rooms and bathrooms. Nice atmosphere, however rules on alcohol are quite strict. The wifi isnt that great. Not a far walk to the train station. Some good supermarkets and cheap food restaurants nearby.

Overall good, but the communal kitchen in particular was too skall and really filthy! Despite signs saying you must label your food so it doesn't get thrown away in the daily check, there was mouldy food in the fridge. The bathrooms also had mould problems in the showers, and the bedroom floors were so dusty that everything you put on them got filthy too. The staff were friendly and helpful, apart from the one who told us the communal kitchen was closed for the weekend when it wasn't!

It took ages to check in, the place was full of young kids, there was no one at the bar to serve drinks, you have to pay for sheets... Otherwise it was clean and spacious. More a hostel for school groups than backpackers

Terrible hostel, no understanding of hostel culture, simply trying to squeeze out every last dollar.

I stayed here for one night and it was good for this. It was alright value for money perhaps on the more expensive side. Located near a train station so the city centre is easy to get to. Staff were friendly and helpful, though check in did take awhile. It was pretty clean and had lockers in the room which is always good. Wifi was available in the rooms but wasn't the best.

I stayed 2 nights in this hostel, and it was a good stay, as they have a luggage room to keep things, and the dorms are quiet and nice. The showers dont have door, what means that if anyone opens the bathroom door, we will be completely exposed. The wifi in the bedrooms is very weak. The staff is nice.
