I really enjoyed my staying and I'm pretty satisfied both from the quality of this hostel as facilities, location etc but also from staff's kindness and its willing to be helpful as well. It does worth the money for sure and probably when I come back to Dusseldorf, I will book again in A&O. :-)

It was just OK for the price, I probably wouldn't stay here again. Charges for EVERYTHING and its easy to hear the common areas from the rooms at night making it hard to sleep.

A basic hostel that has everything you need - for a price. Breakfast, linen, internet, you'll have to pay for it all. On the plus side it's a very well run hotel/hostel, and is walking distance to the old town.

The hostel was very standard and straight-forward; it was a clean, well located and relatively reasonably priced bed without any problems. And it was nice to have the bathrooms within the rooms, of course as long as no-one was getting up too early! The main detraction for me was the bright lights everywhere - rather like in a supermarket - which detracted from any sense of cosiness. Decent place to stay; not so great to hang-out at.

Clean hostel. Located about 10 min walk from main train station and 15 mins from old town.

Nothing really to say. Very big so a little bit anonimous. Noisy on one side, but I do not believe anymore in quiet hostels. Otherwise beds are goods, rooms very clean. To have shower in room is nice on one side, but on the other side 4 people who want to shower at the same time create difficulties.

great as a hotel, we ended up with individual rooms with private bathrooms, but no fun for a hostel. no real meeting area besides the loby, you pay for internet, breakfast, etc. so if you want a cheap place to actually sleep its perfect, but if you want a place to meet people or have fun its not good. very clean and accomodating though
