They hadnt given linen for bed!!! and price is very high for this service!.
I had a good impression of this hostel. It's very clean and cute. there's all you can ask. it's very provided.
Simple and minimal, very clean with everything you need. Good spacious rooms and a great breakfast. The only thing that we would have liked was a safe/locked cupboard for the room.

The hostel wasn't as near to the haupbahnhof (main station) as you'd expect for the name. Generally an ok hostel, but not really a backpackers hostel. Would stay again if I needed a last minute cheap bed.
The room was too small for 4. Horrible furniture arrangement in the room there was barely any space to walk. no coffee/tea making facilities at all. no kitchen. Nothing! If you ask the receptionist, they will help you heat up your food with microwave and give you a cup of hot water. Located quite a distance away from town but quite near to train station. Overall not too bad but a little disappointing for the price. basically you get a bed to sleep on, and an attached bathroom. that's all..
Not bad, but yet the price is not so cheap and everything comes as an option: linen, breakfast, paying by creditcard... And it is not clear enough on the hostelworld website. From now on I might avoid the A&O Hostel if I can find hostels where the price might be a little higher, but including services.
The lack of free internet on the rooms is quite disappointing, but everything else was really nice, specially the staff!
The hotel is clean, in good location and offers good value for money. A big downside is the thin walls which let you hear every noise coming from other rooms. If you are as unlucky as us to have a pack of baboons staying next door be prepared for some sleep deprivation.
We can use free internet just in the hall, and they don't have a kitchen for guests.
If you have no your own bed linen, they charged extra 3€ each person for rental bed sheet.
really basic hostels and additional stuff would charge money. but i mean they do have all you need at the first place and the location is alright.
I stayed at this hostel for one night (christimas evening) and I really enjoyed it! the staff was really nice and the hostel looked very new, clean and had all the facilities. The only thing missing is a common kitchen!
Good, but had some trouble getting the WiFi in the main lobby area because of a bug with the signup. Had to go to Level 5 instead to access WiFi
With simple furnishings and impeccable cleanliness, A & O Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof offer exceptional accommodations at a very low cost!
my only regret is about the doors noises.especialy when the maid comes for the daily routine cleaning near by.they keep closing & opening doors very very often.its very disturbing. plus, the seprate walls between one room & another are very thin. that you can hear your neighbour snoring or whatever. And for the maids. it will be nice if they start cleaning under the bad & maybe washing the floors room. not just changing the towels and the plastic bins. also there was no free wi fy!!!
Hostel was quite good. The dorms were clean and having toilets and showers inside the room is good. Not a lot of atmosphere for backpackers.
pretty basic hostel. Stayed here on my way to the airport
I will recomend your hostel to my friend

Recommended place, not so far from Central train station (12 minute walk). Clean and efficient (although it is the industrial version of hostelling : big groups, bit structure etc). But clean and good value. I will return to AO Hostels.
