We used hotel and found it to be clean, nice and very good value for money. Rooms are a bit small. Bathroom very good and modern. Only complaints would be that cleaning was not always done properly and that the smoking area is just outside the main door which means you need to pass through a cloud of smoke each time.

Despite paying a 10% deposite to Hostelworld the Dusseldorf Hostel refused to except this even though I produced the reciept and forced me to pay again. Only 3 Euros but not the point. They then informed me that I would have to ring a number in Berlin to claim it back!! Rubbish service!!!

The twin private room was nice and clean, with everything we needed. I didn't have any breakfast at the hostel as the most of reviews here say it isn't included in the room rate.

I spent two good nights on A&O. It was very good. The room is clean and have space. The bath is very OK, with good hot water. Staff is helpful and its near to the train station. I recommend.

Ugh. Well, the were no sheets on my bed, firstly. The hostel wasn't serving half the food on its menu (and nothing for a vegetarian) and had no advice about where I could go. I had to share a room with 3 African chaps who woke me up at 1am and again at 3.30am (lights on and shouting and so on....not really the hostels fault, but don't know why they thought type of room setup would be ideal.) gave me wrong info for the bus so I nearly missed my plane after taking a train and then a bus. Worst!

The staff were very polite, smiling and helpful. The room was great, but the smoking lounge is too remote. The staff told us that breakfast is not included- and it says in your info that it is.

Not a bad walk from the train station, wifi good but only works in lobby. 45 minute wait to check in because there were two big groups checking in in front of us and only one staff member doing check in, but check in itself actually only took a few minutes. The room was nice and clean, we had four beds with a bathroom in the room.

Arrived soaking wet having walked from the train station. The staff were very efficient and I was able to get to my room and have a shower after checking in in the minimum of time. After the shower, a snack and a drink I had a good night's sleep and left the hostel in the morning in a taxi called by another member of your staff. I would definitely recommend the hostel to my friends.

The staff was very friendly and helpful although they had to work during christmas. I had forgotten to print out my train ticket and i couldn't do it at their computer services due to some connection problems to the printer. The guy at the desk however allowed me to send my ticket to his email account and printed it at no cost.

We stayed at this hostel in 2011 and chose it again this year because off it's cleanliness and it is open 24hrs. We travel a lot and always stay in hostels and this is the best we have stayed in.
