Wonderful hostel with great location. Directly opposite S bahn so getting about is easy. roof top bar has stunning views of frankfurt at night. felt more like a hotel than a hostel with a low price! Definitely staying here again

I found this hostel to be well managed and it made me feel like a home away from home. The dorm i was staying at was spacious. The common area is also nice and good to sit and just spend some time.

Excellent rooms, very tidy

Free wifi was a nice touch, though it got very slow at peak times. Rooftop bar could've been better advertised, same with the breakfast service. would've been nice to recieve sheets etc free of charge.

The dorm rooms in this hostel were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff at reception were quite helpful as well. its right next to the train station so its easy to get around. However the kitchen facilities were pretty disgusting. It looked like it had never been cleaned and upon walking into the kitchen you were bombarded by a mass amount of flies which was unpleasant whilst cooking your food.

Brilliant location, in walking distance from the train station. Room and facilities adequate. However, more set up for those who want catered dining than self, as they offer a kitchen for use, but the state of it was not great. Apart from the dirty kitchen, the hostel was just what you need for a quick, convenient stay in Frankfurt.

The hostel is only one stop away from the main train station which was super convenient. The S-Bahn stop is right beside the hostel, which is great. The room was clean and everything worked. The atmosphere wasn't the best - it didn't seem like the kind of place you'd meet many new friends but overall it was good.

The hostel was really very nice. Comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed. Private bath and toilet which is very clean with all equipment (handwash soap, shower shampoo). Free luggage storage. All is excellent.

Guest kitchen was odd. You need a key to use it and they run out of keys? Stayed in an eight-bed room with four Bulgarians and a German. That was awesome. Frankfurt is weird.

No lockers in the luggage room, +3 euro for the sheets, they have less lockers in the room then beds and not every bed has a socket nearby.

Nothing really wrong but misses the "backpacker" feeling and the locked kitchen in the basement of a different building then the hostel is also not very good for the atmosphere.

A&O is a big chain hostel so it is fairly clean and safe. However, it did lack intimacy and you had to pay for many things (e.g. linen, breakfast, etc). Although not all hostels include free bed sheets & linens or breakfasts, this certainly is something to be born in mind if you want to keep your budget as low as possible.

The staff screwed up both mine and my travel companion's reservations and tried to charge us for their mistake. Additionally, you are required to pay for sheets, which I have NEVER seen in a hostel and was NOT listed on the website. They said we were welcome to bring our own sheets, but since it was not listed on the website we would not have known that. Also, the beds were an unusual size so our sheets would not have fit anyway. The staff was discourteous and rude. Would not recommend.

This hostel is very close to station!! Although this hostel is not close to Frankfurt hbf , But I think this is good location!! You can use creditcards, but cash is cheaper than creditcards.

It was really awkward having the room building and reception area separated. and the elevator didnt stop on the ground level which means i had to carry my luggage up the stairs to use elevator. now my wrist hurts.
