The first of all a&o hotels is located in Berlin-Friedrichshain at the S-Bahn station Ostkreuz in the trendy student neighborhood. The former factory building has now been extended to a new neighboring building and offers single, double and family rooms as well as shared rooms with up to 8 beds. A guest kitchen, washing machines are all the basics to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The a&o Berlin Friedrichshain is located right in the middle of the trendy district of the same name. With just five minutes by foot to the Ostkreuz train station, the hostel offers optimal connection to all Berlin highlights. Its central location makes the a&o hostel easy to reach by car, train or bus.

All single, double, family and multi- bed rooms have modern furnishings and are fitted with a shower and WC. We are the perfect starting point to your day and nightlife in Berlin. Only 5 minutes walk away is the station Ostkreuz here you can hop on a train and be taken quickly and comfortably to each point of the city. Next to the green grassy areas in front of our hostel we offer parking spaces. In our lobby a bar waits for you with internet connections and billiard table. In each house and in all rooms, it is possible to use the internet with our Wi-Fi connection.

Guests can play table tennis, table football, billiards and darts or you can just relax. For guests who want to stay in contact with friends and relatives there is free internet access.
In our spacious and comfy bar you will find a regular karaoke night. Relax in the summer sun in our beer garden with a cool beer. We also have some video games to entertain our guests. In our A&O Hostel Berlin Friedrichshain you can also play volleyball. Our guests can get volleyballs at the reception for a deposit. In addition, we offer basketball; football and the new sport Speed-Badminton. Rackets and ball sets are available at reception.

I booked three beds for five nights, two months in advance. We were without being told, kicked out of our room by housekeeping one morning, because of a school trip that overruled us, not reimbursed or apologised to in anyway besides given a free drink voucher which we were then rejected when we tried to use it. Unhelpful staff, diabolical hostel, unless you want to be woken up one morning and forced to pack in a matter minutes for something you’ve paid for and booked ahead of time.

Good location had to bike around but good. The atmosphere in the hostel was so good we met so many different people. Rooms were very good, very hot but good and comfy.
