Abbott Lodge was fine - pretty small room but had a bed and and en suite so all you need! There were tea and coffee facilities and the breakfast included was good. Location-wise it was about ten mins walk from the centre so not bad. Pretty atmosphere-free but as a guesthouse rather than a hostel that's no surprise. No complaints, but no rave review either - it was fine.

The room smelled of smoke. There was only one outlet. Cheap to stay at especially for one night but wouldn't recommend it.

The breakfast could have been more elaborate.

It was really hassle free and was beyond our expectatiob in terms of value for money. location is very close to the city, room was excellent with all the facilities stated. Breakfast was on time and OK. The only negative is that there was no lock to our bedroom besides a chainlock from the inside.

Location is fabulous - very central location and easy walking distance to many things, but also quiet. Excellent, friendly staff. Family friendly. Nice facilities. Breakfast is okay, but kind of slow and not the best. We ended up grabbing fruit and muffins out most days.
