The breakfast is great, the room was very cosy and the staff was friendly. Thank you for a very lovely stay!
Good location, clean and well maintained. The reception staff were very friendly, however the ladies serving at breakfast tended to be somewhat brusque. One often waited quite a long time to be served, so much so that we had to leave before we were served on the last day so we weren't late for our flight. However, breakfast was fine once one actually got it.
Abbott Lodge was fine - pretty small room but had a bed and and en suite so all you need! There were tea and coffee facilities and the breakfast included was good. Location-wise it was about ten mins walk from the centre so not bad. Pretty atmosphere-free but as a guesthouse rather than a hostel that's no surprise. No complaints, but no rave review either - it was fine.
The room smelled of smoke. There was only one outlet. Cheap to stay at especially for one night but wouldn't recommend it.
