It’s the first time I’ve stayed at a Hostel! That said it’s better than I imagined! The staff members at the desk were very helpful. I felt safe in my room. There were three other women and we all hit it off well with lots of humor and laughter! The staff members today called a cab for me and was helpful by writing down the cab drivers name and coming outside with me to show me who he was! I highly recommend this place. It was also very reasonably priced!

Stayed in the 6 bed (women only) room Good: friendly staff, clean kitchen Bad: - bad sleep quality -Unlike pictures three bunk beds squished into a tiny room, only two people could stand at the same time. -very uncomfortable beds, creaked loudly every time someone moved. -The storage compartments underneath also very creaky and loud, inconvenient if people arrived in the middle of the night. -very high humidity, resulting in an unpleasant smell.

The Staff is very nice and helpful, the location is Perfect, near to everything. The kitchen was very good, clean and have everything you need to cook. The room was ok, but need maintenance, the room need ventilation because the windows have a lot of mold, the bathroom NEEDS a lot of maintenance, there was a lot of mold, the drains need to be clean, those drains have a lot of hair that need to be removed.

Ashfield House is in the very centre of Dublin between Trinity College and O Connell St. Our visitors have said this excellent location makes the hostel a very handy little place to crash after a night in Temple Bar. This perfect home away from home has friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to help, plus free luggage storage, a delicious and filling breakfast and an 'eat me I'm free' cabinet in the kitchen. We like their daily walking tours of Dublin.
