Only put 'fun' as average because it's a hotel. Staff was really helpful booking a tour and suggesting a good local place to eat. Really close to the main bus stop. Very close to the train station, so convenient if you have to leave early. About 15 min walk from the old town. Area a bit shabby, but didn\'t feel unsafe. The hotel itself is very average. Was a bit noisy on Friday night, but otherwise ok. Run out of eggs during breakfast. No internet station. We stayed two nights. Our overall rating - Fantastic. The rooms are exceptional - modern, clean and large with wood floors, excellent bathroom and a sitting area with a couch. Parking was free in a courtyard at the back of the hotel. It was a pleasure to stay there. The area of Salzburg is a little old, but the hotel is walking distance to the old city. We would highly recommend this as a great place to stay.We stayed two nights. Our overall rating - Fantastic. This hotel was a great place to stay and was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also decent. The only thing I was not crazy about was that it was not very close to the old city. It can be quite a walk, but you can also take a bus. However, it is very close to the train station. The hotel is just a 5 mins walk away from the main train station and a mere 15 mins walk away from the old town area. However, the ventilation in our room wasn't the best and without air-conditioning, we were literally sweating in the room at night! The place is reasonably clean, breakfast was not too bad and the staff were friendly. This was a nice place but it is not located in the safest place. It is very near the train station but we did not feel safe on the street of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and once we got inside we felt more safe but could hear the noise from the clubs and bars outside from our room. GREAT breakfast! It was also nice that our tours picked us up at the hotel. Overall, a nice place but not the best location. This was a nice place but it is not located in the safest place.
