All the facilities were very clean including the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common room. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you'd need and the common room was really nice as well. Definitly would stay here again. Good location near the beach

Spacious 6 bed dorm with good size lockers. En suite was reasonably clean but the door had warped and was a nightmare to close and hence noisy. Large kitchen was clean and well equipped. Common room and seating area available although anyone could access these areas. The WI-FI was temperamental and couldn't use all the time. Location was very central and good for Greyhound/tour pick ups. Staff seemed a bit careless as they checked us into female dorm when we needed mixed!

Annie reception SUPERB. Great position + pool scrupulously clean. The kitchen was one of the best . Sore hips after 5 nights on the bed mattress to be honest. The mattresses are covered with a horrid impermeable sweaty plastic cover. OK no bed bugs. Used to be a motel so no individual bed lights. But it was economical. DO NOT SNORKEL GBREEF with Cruise Whitsundays. 300-500 in 2 boats REAL RIP OFF. Use anyone else with fewer people, as 1 boat arrives 11/2 hours before 2nd boat. VERY BAD.

Great hostel with fantastic staff. The twin room was bit small but sharing bathroom with only one other room was worth it. Excellent location but to be fair everything is close to center and beach in Airlie :)

The staff is excellent!!! The building could use an upgrade, kitchen and common areas are ok, but the rooms need an update. Not bad, not great, but decent place to stay.
