Good hostel, oke room (even a 17 bed dorm). Only had to pay extra for late check-in..
All around average stay. Everything you need was there. Free wifi is great, location is awesome. The only downfall is that it's not a hostel to easily meet people. I used it merely for a place to crash before and after my whitsundays tour and it was perfectly adequate.
Quiet, clean, big kitchen, free wifi, good location. No real common room except the kitchen so it is hard to meet people apart from your roomate. But I liked my stay there.
Do not book a 4-dorm room. They have no window, no fresh air, a tiny pipe stretching to the room for sunlight. Our aircon was broken and cockroaches fell out of it. The receptionist tried to tell us that 'cockroaches are everywhere in the tropics' - it's actually because there was no air or light getting in the room. Wifi had a short range, no atmosphere. Kitchen was sparse. On the upside they did put little soaps and shampoo in the bathroom - which was really clean! Won't stay here again
Not on the main strip but still so close, nice to get away from the craziness but yet be so close. Had a room to myself for 2 nice which was an unexpected bonus. Still met lots of fun people
Really good and quiet hostel although I stayed in a 17-bed-dorm. Balcony was my favorite spot to enjoy the view and just relax. Highly recommend!
very nice hostel with cool loft room and comfortable beds, big kitchen, big balconies but only two small showers and one toilet for 18 people ... still i really liked it and i had a very good time.
GREAT location, 30 seconds from the beach. Kind of a bizarrely laid out building, though. I was in the 17 share loft, and it was just... odd that you had to walk into the kitchen to use the loo. Also, having those restaurants kind of in the middle of the hostel, and having to walk through them and their finely dressed customers in my shabby backpacker attire was... disheartening. Loved that the rooms had heating/airconditioning options, as well as fans. Beds were comfy. Staff... were there.
