Great Location, Great staff. Reasonable Price. Would definitely recommend
Everything you need before hopping to the whitsundays: luggage-storage (2$/day) free, well working WiFi an airconditioned room with a view on the sea, in the middle of center. Atmosphere is not too hilarious but this can be due to the fatigue after 2 days of sailing the whitsundays.
Very good location. Large loft is comfortable as there are no bunk beds. Not a fan of having to pay a deposit to the front desk to get kitchen dishes/utensils as there is not a good place to store it.
Location is perfect, staff were friendly but hostel rooms and facilities are incredibly dated compared to most other hostels.
Stayed in the 17 beddorm for 3 nights. For sleeping it's fine, but for anything else don't stay here. Kitchen is always a mess (same mess as the days before) and most of the tiny little showers and toilets can use a good cleaning too. Next to that you pay a deposit for your plate and cuttlery, unwashed and in a dirty box. The older reception staff was really rude, when we walked in they asked us what we where doing here (not in the nice way). Stayed that way as long as we stayed.
Choosing the 17 bed dorm was a bit daunting however after seeing that it wasnt bunk beds it was fine! Amazing air conditioned room! Great location!
Free wifi rather poor. Nevertheless you can skype at 6-8am with a good connection. The kitchen was not clean at all, but rather the guests fault because it was cleaned once a day. Great advantage: there were two ovens! The staff was friendly but sometimes didn't know what to do in Airlie Beach or how to get there (which bus etc.). 17 share dorm was great: no bunkbeds and air con so it was cool all the time. Good location: never more than 10 mins to go anywhere (except Coles -> take the bus!)
The hostel was basic and clean, but lacked a communal area for people to socialise and the staff were unenthusiastic
Great spot ended up extending my stay.

Good hostel, oke room (even a 17 bed dorm). Only had to pay extra for late check-in..
All around average stay. Everything you need was there. Free wifi is great, location is awesome. The only downfall is that it's not a hostel to easily meet people. I used it merely for a place to crash before and after my whitsundays tour and it was perfectly adequate.
Quiet, clean, big kitchen, free wifi, good location. No real common room except the kitchen so it is hard to meet people apart from your roomate. But I liked my stay there.
