Very basic. Its totally fine for if you need somewhere to stay after you fly into San Jose. The bus from Alajuela to San Jose is also right beside the hostel so that was handy. Nothing to do here or around the hostel but the restaurant upstairs was good.

Great location near the airport in a really nice town. The airport pick up didn't arrive so after an hour of waiting I got my own taxi, the cost of which was refunded by the hostel as soon as I arrived. More common areas needed. I would definitely stay again.

The rooms were.m not clean, especially the bathrooms! The floor was dirty and it smelled bad. Also, we could smell the bathroom of he room next door! What a horrible stay!

Great hostel for an early flight or a late arrival. The free shuttle is very convenient. Would not stay more than a night. Alajuela is just a regular small city were there is not that much things to do. And the hostel has no kitchen as well. So, it is a nice place for a short stop!

Hostel very close to the airport. Has a free shuttle or you can take the public bus for 1 dollar. Not the cleanest but not terrible and pretty much no social atmosphere since there's no common area and people have flights and go to sleep extremely early. Good for staying before or after a flight.

Honestly if it wasn't so close to the airport and had a free shuttle to the airport, then it was the worst bed I slept on in 3 months in Central America, they were uncomfortable, loud and squeaky any time anyone made a move you could hear it, not ideal situation before a travel day.

The hostel is five minutes away from the airport by car and the hostel offer free shuttle to go at different hours. Good place to crash when you arrive in Costa Rica or juste before leaving .

Common room was being renovated so there was no where to hangout. Very convenient shuttle to the airport (only a few minutes away). Mediocre hostel.

Very close to the airport; so practical! The free shuttle to and from the airport is great too: no stress! The rooms are clean although the dark orange paint is kind of unsettling. Noisy street but close to everything. The restaurant and bar is good and cheap.
