I had a great time in this hostel. The staff helped me book all tours and transportation and just billed them to my room, I really appreciated that!. There is a surcharge for using a credit card to pay the bill. The distance to town is not too bad, 10 min max walking, most of the path is well illuminated, but I will still be careful to go back walking from town to the hostel late at night. Not all rooms get access to wifi, mine didn\'t. But to be honest, being in this beautiful place it wasn\'t needed a

Great place to stay & great staff. The bus from the airport was booked by the staff & dropped us off at the front door, staff were always happy, willing to help us book any tours. Breakfast was adequate, but very very sweet - some fruits would have been a great bonus. Internet was unreliable, but I believe this may have been a state problem affecting the hostel during our stay. Rooms were gorgeous, warm (heated floors) & very clean - cleaned everyday by staff. Overall great place. Recommended!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Great common areas and staff, we got upgraded to a private double, and when we wanted to stay an extra night they charged us only dorm price. Great nightly BBQ and BEAUTIfUL view! Comfy beds and lovely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to fellow travelers!

Very cold at night, extra blankets should be provided. Breakfast was okay.

Nice hostel! Very nice atmosphere, the staff is really good and helpful! The "asado" the served was not worthy for the price and as we arrived 20 minutes late we had to eat a bit cold... The beds are nice, but the shower place is REALLY smal! If you are a big person it will definitely let you angry! A bit far from the main street, but a nice walk! I would be back anyway...

a very well-organized hostel with clean room, good breakfast, and friendly staff. the only drawback is the location. it's 10-minute from the center, and it's a bit uphill.

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel. It was a very good atmosphere and very nice staff wich very helpful and gave good information. The roms where small, but had showers and bathroms. I didnt like the kitchen, It was not very clean and it lacked a lot of coking equipment. I would go back to this hostel again if I return to El calafate!

Our only real complaint (which was echoed by a number of the other guests we spoke to) was the heat! Please turn down the temperature a couple degrees, guys! Otherwise a really cool hostel with nice, helpful staff and a friendly environment, well situated in town.

Great atmosphere and facilities, underfloor heating so it's VERY warm. Staff very friendly and helpful, spoke great English. Located a bit far from town (compared to other hostels), 20min walk from bus terminal/15min from town. Nice view. Unfortunately I got bitten by fleas/bedbugs when stayed in 4bed-dorm, very unpleasant experience (>50 bites). Otherwise clean rooms & bathrooms. Also we left some items behind which we emailed them and was told they should be there on return, but they weren't.

This is what a hostel should be. Best staff I\'ve ever run across, at any hostel worldwide. They go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of, and that you get everything you need, whether it\'s good food, excursions, or transportation. The vibe here is great, the rooms clean and comfortable. The only negative about this place is that it\'s a 10 minute walk to town, but for everything else it offers, I\'d gladly take that walk everyday. I wouldnt think of staying anywhere else in calafate

Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. They will allow you to put tours and transport they arrange on your room bill. A short walk from downtown but in a nice area with good restaurants. Kitchen is a little small but well equipped. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The best hostel I stayed at in Argentina!

Cool hostel and the staff were very helpful, but I was attacked by bed bugs during the night. When we asked to change rooms the next day they didn't have availability so we had to check out and STILL had to pay for the night I got bed bugs. They simply didn't care or offer any apology and i'm sure they won't be changing the mattress any time soon.

The staff were nice, friendly, relaxed and super super helpful. We arrived not knowing our plans for the next few days but the staff helped us book everything i.e. bus journeys to El Chalten and back, bus to Perito Moreno Glacier, shuttle bus to the airport, hostel at El Chalten. They are the most helpful hostel I've been to so far 6 weeks into my travels.
