Just like their counterpart in buenos aires, this hostel is just as great. Friendly staff, everything is clean, and you feel like your leaving a friendly place when its time to move on...
Not much atmosphere in the hostel. Showers really clean and beds comfy. Breakfasts were great. Location is slightly out - hill to climb from shops and restaurants
Has a hotel feel to it, which can be good or bad depending on your point of view. Killer view towards the lake from the lounge windows, and breakfast was great. One quibble: the key system sounds like a good idea in theory, but if the person is possession leaves the hostel with it in their pocket, you can end getting locked out of your room. Staff has backup keys, but kinda annoying to walk the long distance there and back...
Great hostel with amazing views and lovely staff. It felt like a home from home as soon as I got there and they helped with everything from organising tours to helping me change a flight. Definitely recommend them... There was building work going on to add a veranda overlooking the Andes when I was there so in a month or so it will be even better.
Stayed 3 nights. Great location for the gorgeous mountains in the distance and view of the town, only 15 minutes walk to supermarket and bus station. Great info from super helpful staff. Kitchen is a tad small for the many guests trying to make dinner. Big lockers, laundry room, great common areas (including a loft), and great early breakfast for all the early tours! Loved the heated floors and the huge windows to watch either sunrise or sunset! They are doing a bit of construction but no biggie
An ok stay, the staff were a little disorganised with our bookings of the mini treks and other things. Very clean though and good kitchen facilities, comfortable beds and a short walk down into town. However, we did not feel like it was very secure as any guest could access the keys to the room and the baggage room. Wifi very slow, but this is common in El Calafate. Ok for a short stay but make sure you book things thoroughly and double check pick up times for tours etc... Just in case.
Noise and Musique were to loud to apreciate common space, until midnight...
Nice building with a great view to the lake. Very organized place, clean, good dorms and good showers. Sometimes inside of the bedroom looks heat was not working well. Staff very helpful, nice and atentious. You also can enjoy good music in common areas. Good to make new friends while cooking dinner.
Perfect with a great view, minutes away walking from the and the bus station, friendly staff always available for help with information or any needs. Excellent atmosphere.. And a great experience so 100 % recomended! Thank you!
Best hostel experience i have ever been a part of. large sample set. Close to city center .. Fantastic staff and crowd .. Even in the off season.
This is, by far, the best hostel we have stayed in. Helpful, polite, multilingual staf. Laundry service, and a wonderful view of the mountains . Must stay here if you are in El Calafate!

Really enjoyed my time here, thank you for a great couple of days :)
Some of the staff members didn't seem very genuine, but they were nice overall. Also, they had lots of issues trying to book shuttles, mini-trekking, etc. It was a bit annoying.
Nice staff, stable wifi, good common areas with view. 10min from the city center.
I obviously enjoyed my two stays at this hostel as both times I stayed longer than I intended to - staff are extremely helpful, informative and happy to answer any questions . The music is great , sometimes a bit loud but adds to the atmosphere - some dorms are close to living areas and can be a bit noisy if people are still socializing - the kitchen could be cleaner . All the dorms are clean as are the bathrooms - breakfast is good - especially the cake !!
The hostel is really good! The staff explained to us everything that we can do in the city, helped us to go all the place that we would like to visit. The internet is amazing, the room is really nice with bathrooms, and the breakfast is really nice, one of the best that i got in hostels in my life.
Superb. Deserves each one of its positive reviews. Great location about ten minutes walk from the centre. kitchen is small but well equipped. Staff are extremely friendly, well informed and not pushy when it comes to arranging tours. Dorms are warm, clean and each bunk has an individual light. Brilliant hostel.
A very nice hostel with good facilities. Floor heating is very nice, spacious reception/breakfast/lounge area, breakfast is nice, showers hot, kitchen is okay, atmosphere very good, personnel friendly and helpful, and everything in El Calafate is nearby. All excursiones are pretty expensive, but I knew this before arriving to Patagonia.
Matteus is the man. He helped me from the first minute I arrived and ensured that I had a great stay. Thank you Matteus and rest of the staff.
