Our stay in the Andes Hostel in Serena was lovely and we felt really comfortable. The owner is really nice and helpful and the place is very clean.
For people that wants to be just in the city its quite nice, cause the location is just 100m away from the main avenue. But if you go there to go to the beach be ready for 40min walk for each side! Talking about facilities is not that good cause you dont have pcs with internet for example or a bar thst can sell you water!
Really nice owners! vert, but very clean hostel. a bit to clean sometimes (you feel sorry to use something haha) Sometimes its hard that you have to ring a bell for the door, specially when the first 15 min no1 is answering.. for the rest a good option in La Serana!
Staff was really nice and helpful and plans your trips if you want. hostel was clean, breakfast was basic but fine. So I'm sorry to say, I wouldn't stay again. Didn't feel comfortable and it was bad not to have a key, so you always need to ring the door bell.
The hostel is located about 30 minutes away from the beach but in the centre of town. Clean bathrooms and bedrooms and relatively comfortable beds but the common room in the basement with no natural light, the cold kitchen (also in the basement) and the plethora of rules posted (EVERYWHERE) kind of dampen the atmosphere. Owners are pretty friendly but watching at all time à la big brother. Breakfast is nothing to write home about: Nescafé or tea with a white-bread-one-slice-of-cheese sandwich.
