Welcome to the Hostal El Punto – the most colourful and service-oriented Hostel in La Serena!
Discover our colonial house which offers you cozy and sunny courtyards to relax and enjoy your stay. The hostel staff is always concerned about your wellbeing. Enjoy FREE BREAKFAST with home made jams, cakes and lot of other options.

Central location of the Hostel, the “plaza de armas”, the bus terminal and many sightseeing-attractions are within walking distance.

The rooms are all decorated with a lot of love and handmade wooden furniture. Each room has its own style with specially chosen pictures and typical handcrafted decorations.

Our guests can relax in our sunny patios, discover the city, join a tour to surrounding attractions or simply enjoy the endless beach promenade

Beautiful hostel was lovely to relax here in the evening, facilities are good tho basic if you want to cook for yourself, amazing breakfast, lovely doggos, and lovely helpful staff!

Super cute hostel. They have a small cafe onsite that does the BEST pumpkin soup we have ever tried. Some cute dogs appear every now and then which are very friendly and chilled. Shower rooms were big and rooms very comfortable. Would recommend if staying in La Serena.
