The rooms looked good but the dorms were very bad. We were on the roof with outdoor toilets the room smelled of plaster and the lockers did not lock properly. It did not feel myself safe.it is the worst dorm that i have taken in china so far and i did not feel myself safe. staff was very nice and it should be ok if you take a room.

The hostel is situated very close to the park entrance, have quite big rooms for hostel standard. Showers have hot water, shampoo, towels. The only problem I found - the water on the shower floor was going down the pipe a bit slow. I want to say special word about the service the staff has provide- everything was super efficient, every question was answered immidiatly, every request for a bus, tickets etc. was salved on the spot! Great service! Really impressed.

well, it was not bad. but i think hotels in jiuzhaigou are generally not that atmospheric. but the female staff in angelie hotel was so kind to us and helped us to book one day trip to huanglong. and within five minutes on foot, you can get to jiuzhaigou national park main gate. the scenery you can experience in jiuzhaigou will make you not place emphasis on accommodations because what you can see there is wonderful.

Very good location. We didn't get any confirmation mail with directions, so we had to help ourselves somehow to find it. Facilities and rooms a little run down. They helped us get tickets for the bus back to Chengdu.

Location was great, but we arrived at night and taxi driver did not understand english (as well as all taxi drivers in Jiuzhaigou) and the contact phone number did not work. In evening there was nice english speaking young lady, but during the day there was a man who did not undestand and did not even try and sent us the wrong way for bus tickets so we lost one hour of the day we could have spent in the national park

Good clean size room towards the back of hostel, not near the the road where every idiot in a vehicle blows their air horn. The beer fridge got turned off two days in a row so no cold beer after a hard days hiking. A great view of the valley and mountains from top floor but no chairs to enjoy it. Should set up a bar with cold beer. If Angela wasn't there limited English spoken. Meals were basic but tasty and were in English so you know what you were getting. Received good tour advise to Juishai

Its more like a hotel with dorms, its ok, but not a place to meet travelers. Its close to the busstation (15 min walk) and the entrance of the park (between busstation and hotel). Beds are hard which i think is not a problem and toilets are outside the room. I wouldend leave stuff in the locker in the room it was not a good quality.

Room was clean, english speaking staff, good location, very easy to find. Good value!

Close to the park entrance. Staff were quite helpful. But as jiuzhaigou is a touristy place it is well over-priced during the summer. Quite clean but not very welcoming to meet new people.

Location is nice and convienient, about 25 min walk from the bus station and 15 from the park entrance. Dormitories are just a concrete shell on the roof, communal toilets and showers have no locks and are filthy. The hostel over charges for trips to huanglong so arrange it yourself through one of the touts and save 20yuan per person.

- toilet flushing didn't work - bath hasn't been cleaned - the room was always cold due to the open window

The hostel is not very easy to find because after 6 pm , the jiuzhaigou bus station closes, so if you arrive late, your bus may drop you off anywhere on the main road which is very long; so you should ask to be dropped off at Pengfeng village (but the hostel is on the other side). The entrance of the park is 20 mn away if you walk. The rooms are very big and comgortable, but the staff not very helpfull.

Angie is professional but not as nice as i could read in other comments. Very convenient hostel regarding its location. 10 minutes by walk to the park and 30 minutes to the bus station. Otherwise its average: no common room or space where you can hang out. Private rooms are nice. Tip: if ever you book a private room, ask one which is not near the street, the noise won't stop till 11pm and start at 5:30 am

The signage was poor when you're riding on a bus. A few more English signs would help.

Very conveniently located and large rooms. Sells cheap chilled bottled drinks in lobby and staff were efficient and helpful in planning/booking additional activities. Wifi was quite slow though. More hotel than hostel atmosphere since there are few common spaces.

Hostel is the last floor of the hotel with no elevator (5th), perfect location for visiting Jiuzhaigoy, bathroom and toilet little bit dirty because they are outside.

Everything is good. Angie is really helpful and professional. There's not much of a communal area if that's important to you. I did Jiuzhaigou in one day and Huanglong the next. Jiuzhaigou Park entrance is close and so are lots of restaurants, but you can of course eat at the hostel too.

If you want to go to Jiuzhaigou it is the place to stay. The room was good and clean. The staff spoke really good English and booked the bus ticket back to Chengdu for us. That was really nice because we were picked up at the hostel in the morning. The rooms looked much more like hotel rooms than hostel rooms. Very positive was also the restaurant. It may look not so invitingly but the quality of the food was very good (the pizza was completely selfmade). Overall the stay was really nice
