I only spent two nights at this excellent hostel and didn't take part in any of the evening events, but I can imagine people who stay for longer and embrace the hostel culture enjoy their stay even more than I did. This was a great hostel with lots of activities offered and good facilities. The kitchen was one of the best I've experienced in a hostel and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It also has a good location in the heart of Philadelphia and very close to the main attractions. The only slight down side was the nightclub right outside the front door of the hostel but you are given free ear plugs to help with the noise! Highly recommended though. My party and I really enjoyed staying in this hostel. It was my first experience and I must say that I look forward to my next visit to Philadelphia when I can stay at Apple Hostels again. The staff were great and very helpful they let us store our bags for three days even though for the middle night we had to stay somewhere else. If you like a good nights sleep this may not be the place for you but there is a great atmosphere and you couldn\'t be closer to the attractions.
