The Hostel is very central and you can walk everything in the city. The staff was very friendly and let us check in a little bit earlier. The room is big, but for my surprise very quit and with comfortable beds. Everything was clean and I am full satisfied. The only thing that could be better, if they would offer breakfast during the week and if you could calculate the heat in the room. It was very warm. But all in all a very good hostel which I can recommend.

They take a price advantage because only there are there in the town.

It's in a very good location, especially if you're going to Philly for the history/culture. There are plenty of bars/restaurants nearby if that's your taste. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and gave great advice in terms of getting a 'Philly Cheese Steak.' There are plenty of bathrooms, which are regularly cleaned, and a huge kitchen. It's a bit pricey for Philly, but they give free beer on movie nights, so can't complain too much.

Apple hostel is definititely the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff is really friendly, it is located within walking distance of all the major tourist sites and all facilities are really clean. There are many beds in the dorms but there is also enough privacy. There are more than enough showers and they are always warm. They organise heaps of activities so it is really easy to meet people and the atmosphere is great. I definitely recommend this hostel.

Everything was really good. One comment: shared rooms should be smaller (less than 16 beds), people tend to be very noisy.

Great staff Great fun Dorm was huge but no excessive noise or crowding, actually pretty spacious. Annoying that lights are controlled by staff and don't get activated until late morning as i generally sleep in late due to the lack of natural light coming in. Would definitely stay again.

Feel at home , it's the feeling that I had at Apple Hostels. Everything well explained by the staff , very secure , a nice kitchen , vending machines and an incredible schedule at the Lounge. I went in a ' Movie Night with Free Beer' , and it was very good to meet people from different parts of the world, it was a good time. The rooms are comfortable, every clean and the bathrooms are good too. They have a big schedule to make sure the fun of the customer, I strongly recommend !!!

it was quite good to stay there, but considering a lot of beds, I guess more than 20, in one room and no breakfast offer, the rate is fairly expensive..

I was forced to cancel but am leaving a mediocre review for their HW listing. Listing fails to clearly state that it is NOT OPEN TO U.S. CITIZENS UNLESS YOU ARE A STUDENT. I do not question their right to make this restriction, only that it is buried deep in their entry. You have to read every word of the description to figure it out. This should be at the TOP of the entry. I wasted my time and money be reserving based on a casual reading. Only just before travelling did I read the details.

This hostel was a bit different as it was a gigantic room with around 14 bunk beds. That said though, it was still extremely spacious. Had lockers, a common room with tv, wii, a guitar (which was great as it was pouring outside!). i was lucky enough to go on free dinner night, so alot of mixing with everyone else :-)

Very well located, safe, friendly helpful staff, nice common area, very clean rooms and bathrooms. The free pasta meal on Wednesday is a very good idea. Big downside : in high season, a man will have a hard time getting a bed since he can only sleep in a male dorm. Mixed dorm are available only if he comes with a woman. Weird logic : if a woman is scared to have a man in her dorm (?!), what is the difference if he comes with a woman (who could actually be just a friend) ?
