I felt like I stayed in my aunt's house. The owner of the hostel - a lovely old lady controls the everything with tough hand when hostel staff are concerned but remains extremely friendly to her guests. She personally prepares the breakfast. The location of the hostel is close to the night live and also where all hostels are located. Wifi internet was fast and reliable throughout my stay.

Lovely and friendly hostel near the Zona Rosa. A bit of a trek to the main town but cab/bus only takes 10 mins. The staff are the best bit about the hostel, really going out of their way for you. They organised a coffee tour for me and got a farm employee to pick me up and even served breakfast earlier than usual specially for me. Was pretty quiet when I was there and no bar but plenty of bars 5 min walk away.

Great hostel with amazing potential. Only one English speaking staff member but she went out of her way to explain where everything was on the city and even organised a coffee tour for us (highly recommend but be aware you have to organise your own way home). Great location, just round the corner from shopping mall (including cinema) supermarkrt, restaurants and bars. Cons: water wad turned off occasionally due to faulty plumbing and staff were hard to find early in the morning to check out.

I stayed 8 days for the Feria. After 10 months in S America, the staff here will stick in my mind as near the best. They have a wealth of information and the environment is so welcoming. I will be back in Columbia and when I return to Manizales, I will stay here. The have a varied breakfast, three hammocks and a nice living area. They are only five minutes walking to the New Town and in a quiet area. The staff's English is good enough to get you the info you need. Fantastic hostel!!

I had a good time at AMQ. Diego went out of his way to make sure I knew how to get to where I was going. Thanks again! I really enjoyed my time in Manizales!

Very nice. Mostly Spanish only speakers but very helpful. One lady walked us four blocks to show us the bus we needed. Some discounts offered on local hot springs. Great Hostal and Manizales is incredible.
