Great place to stay. Asakusa is a superb area. My only concern was that anyone could walk off the street and go past the counter or upstairs without being seen by the staff. But of course, Tokyo is not the type of city to worry about that stuff too much. Great place to stay. Asakusa is a superb area. Great hostel, with very cute little rooms. A/C, TV, tea and kimonos all included. No organised events is the only downer. Close to subway and Asakusa is a nice area, great restaurants close by. Difficult location to connect to for first time tourists (having to switch between unrelated rail companies can be very confusing at first), but good location close to the main sights in Asakusa. Rooms very tightly planned but decent amenity, though the toilet was just way too small (anybody who is tall like me will find it impossible to close the bathroom door while seated). Staff very friendly and helpful (good english), free internet, price is very fair, no curfew.
