Well, first of all you do meet realy nice people here and the surounding mountains are so unreal and nice. Staff was kind of grumpy and the TV was always on which we didn´t like too much. Unfortunately I got fleas the last night. So it was a real pain sitting 23hours in a bus and having the little guests all on my clothes. The hostal told me they are washing everything and they might have been from my roommates... Anyway, it made our stay kind of unpleasent in the end:(

Awesome beds, hot showers, very very well eqipped kitchen, tv with lotsnof movies for bad weather days (and you WILL defenatly have some days with bad weather, it's Patagonia! ^^), tips from the owner (Sebastian) where to go and what to see, lots of hiking maps to plan your trips and best thing: the whole day sebastian plays live concerts from nirvana, pink floyd, eric clapton, red hot chili peppers, u2, ... really good taste of music!! Defenately recommended! Loved it!

Really cosy inside! Good atmosphere! Nice staff, who help you with any questions you might have. You get a private locker in the room. I really enjoyed my stay! Book in advance!

Nice and helpfull staff. Nice little hostel. A pity that the breakfast was not included and at a very high price to purchase.

Really friendly owner, very helpful and full of laughs, made us feel very welcome. Has a real homely feel to it with a huge selection of DVDs to watch which you all tend to gather at night to watch or play cards. Incredible showers (great after a long hike), lockers in the bedroom and the location is just stunning. Would love to come back.

A very nice place to stay in El Chalten. One minor suggestion though is to have a few additional electrical outlets in the rooms so that electronics can charge when sleeping.

It's a good place, but nothing spectacular. It is clean, has decent beds, kitchen and has an awesome shower (upstairs). It lacks a quality hangout spot, and overall I thought 90 pesos was a very steep price.

There's no big locker in the room, so everyone just put backpacks on the floor. The room wasn't very big, with these backpacks there'd be very little room to walk around. The hot shower is great and the bathroom is always very clean, though. Since it doesn't provide breakfast, I would say ARS90 per night for a 4-bed dorm is quite expensive.

Very good hostel, the only things we missed were some hangers and hooks in the shower to hang clothes and towels. The rest was very good, good beds, everything was very clean, Sebastian is a really involved owner who speaks good English, very good shower too and the kitchen is complete. We enjoyed our stay here a lot.

Great atmosphere, very comfortable little hostel. Spacious dorm rooms that are cleaned daily along with the kitchen and common aria. Sebastian is a great host and has a great selection of music!! Definitely one of the best hostels we have stayed in in Argentina.

Very nice atmosphere, not too big and although it's a bit further from the bus station than some others (only about 500m total), it comes with a fantastic view of the cliffs nearby. Great music selection if you like rock.

It seems like most, if not all, hotels in Chalten are expensive, don't offer breakfast and have either limited or no wifi and no computers available. It would be nice if one of them were to break the mould and do something about this to give a good service. Owner is OK and has useful info on hikes. Drinks in the hostel can be a bit expensive (some of the beer was same price as in restaurants).

Amazing! Nothing really much else to say.... Just book this one.... Sebastian is the best host ever..... The lack of WIFI makes it a really social place, we met some great people .... Oh how could I forget you get fluffy towels!
