B&B Dei Rossi Reviews

I had book a double room with share bathroom,but the staff gave us the one with private bathroom!The breakfast is excellent,we taste the best Cappuccino at it.I recommend this B&B to all people who plan to Siena.

We were in Via dei Rossi, 3rd floor (without elevator). The traffic and noise was quite unbearable during the night. We could sleep only closing the windows which resulted in no fresh air.In the bathroom the automatic light was awful, because it turned off while showering, but it didn't want to stop turning on and on after leaving the bathroom, which during the night (noise (fan) and light) was disturbing.We missed a table with some chairs from the hall, a wardrobe from the room.

In the bathroom the light is switched on by a motion detecor: nice idea - but impossible to turn the light on again by jumping, waving and moving in the shower ( behind the curtain). The idea using an ornamet of glass stones in the wall between the bedroom and the bathroom made a very charmig impression - but at night the automatical swithed glow ball is flooding the bedroom with light too.

B&B Dei Rossí is perfect but Siena is not a city for more than one or two days. I recommend only one night, otherwise it is getting boring and too much money....

Staff is not in the building where the rooms are. We were not able to ask for anything we needed. Rooms are on the 5th floor. Lady that made breakfast was extremely sweet, nice and helpful. I would recommend it for a very short stay. The location is very strategic, close to the touristic places, restaurant and bus station.

The family who own this b&b were very helpful and accommodating. There was a small error with our reservation, but they worked hard to remedy it and upgraded us to a better room free-of-charge to make us more comfortable. As we were tired and carrying heavy backpacks, the father gave us a lift over to the other property in his car. It was great.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful room in the middle of old Sienna. Joy, who ran the place was a wonderous source of information. Our view from the window each morning produced an awe-inspiring view of the Tuscan landscape. The room was spotless and they even improved it by adding additional antique furniture to our room. This family run business was truly run by people for whom this line of work is much more than a business - it is their passion! WE LOVE IT!

The B &B was perfect the only thing missing was WIFI and we could only find a pizza takeaway with it. Everything else was spot on.

No air conditioning in the rooms overlooking the street is a serious problem. It is very loud.

The hotel consists of of several places. When we arrived, the office was closed, but after we had rung the bell, a lady appeared. They were apparently not prepared for our visit. In the end we were given a nice room some streets away. On the whole I would commend the place, because it is clean and very central.
