It‘s completely fine for a night or two. The location is really amazing. The bathrooms and the room smelled a little, and the doors and walls are very thin, so it‘s a bit noisy. However, they were very nice and accommodating when I said I would arrive later due to traffic problems and didn‘t charge extra.

We enjoyed our stay! Check in and check out were very easy and the room was lovely. The location was great but it was very noisy from the street at night until around 3am which was tough. We also had several stairs to climb to get to our room which was okay because we are able but it is something to be mindful of if you need something more accessible.

I had a nice stay in Siena. The location is fantastic!! It can be a little loud at night outside but if you close your window, you should be fine IIRC. You are 1 block from groceries, 2.5 blocks from the major plaza, and a manageable walk to holy sites including San Domenica and the Cathedral. I had a hard time checking in but make sure you check your email regularly especially if you book with only a day or so of notice. You'll be sent the codes to get into the building via email if you arrive after their hours of reception operation (which differ slightly from the hostelworld hours I saw). I think it closes actually at like 8pm IIRC.
