Great hostel! Very clean, bright, big rooms, great value, polite staff, free breakfast with a menu to choose from. I only have good things to say about this place!

We really enjoyed our stay in Le Gite del Sol.The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Good breakfast as well :).

Comfortable hostel, quite close to the main plaza and pedestrian street. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Yes, they mention the tours that you can buy through them but they are hardly pushy about it - and their prices are exactly the same as if you bought the tours directly from the tour operator (who won't then necessary pick you up from the hostel; whereas buying thru the hostel does guarantee this). You can also check and buy ADO bus tickets with them, which is very handy!

I stayed in a private room in the second property, that is just some 30 m up the road. This location is basic, but the room had normal size and was clean. Breakfast (served in the main location) was nice too. You can book bus tickets in the main location which is quite handy.

Average hostel in a disappointing city. The hostel info fail to mention that the gite has two properties, the main building where the courtyard is located and down the road in what seems to be a converted garage. In this last one ,most of the common areas where flooded permanently making risky trips to bathrooms and everywhere. Rooms are very simple but clean. Breakfast is good. By the way ,I never felt "pressured" to buy tours and they do their job offering them, they are a business not an NGO.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. My room was pretty big. Breakfast was nice but was not quite enough for me. Much closer to Cerro de Guadalupe (church and observation point) than to the town center where you have to walk about 15 minutes.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet except for the road noise and the hosts were very helpful with all matters. It was safe and secure and just a short walk to the zocalo. I would definately go there again and refer others. Not a party place which was good for me.

Good cross breeze in our corner, private room, but lots of street noise. Smells from smokers on the patio wafted into our room. No separate light in the private bathroom, only whatever could penetrate the plastic walls. Convenient tour options and ADO booking available from the hostel.

The complimentary breakfast was great. Clean basic hostel with good location and friendly staff. Rooms are very very basic and small. Shared bathrooms are ok.

Ended up very sick during time in SC and staff at here beyond accommodating. We stayed a number of additional nights, booked, rebooked and changed tours and buses - all no problem. Owner extremely helpful as are house staff. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily with fresh towels. Bathrooms cleaned many times daily. Breakfast included is more than sufficient and good choice. Location excellent just 1 block from main tourist st. Good kichen & wifi. For price this place is steal. Highly Recommended
