A delightful place out of the way of the cramped center of Venice. It takes awhile to get out there on the waterbus, but you'll see the whole Grand Canal on your way--great for taking photos! Olivia keeps the place nice and tidy, providing a light yet satisfactory breakfast. Her English is sufficient to give you directions and other help you may need. I would definitely stay here again.

Olivia makes FABULOUS breakfast!! The house was lovely, the only downside was there's no wi-fi. It's not on the main island, but Lido is a quiet place to stay at. LOVE IT!.

Great place to stay. The lido island isnt the best for winter but its really good. The owner of the place is really kind and speaks many languages. There is a microwave, dishes and coffee/tea/etc to use at any time and the owner makes the breakfast every morning. Its a house with many rooms turned into a hotel (which we like, particularly because it felt warmer than a simple hotel room). The downside is the shared bathroom (but our room had its own shower, etc. we only need to use the shared wc)

Livia was super sweet and accommodating. The house is beautiful-- not a far walk from the vaporetta terminal on Lido which is very beautiful as well. Amazing deal for the price! A great breakfast too- really felt comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommended. Charming, comfortable, calm, & sunny. The owner, Livia, is kind & generous. I fell extremely ill in the middle of the night and Livia helped me find medical attention, then picked me up from the hospital at 4AM. Thank you Livia! Merci L

The only downside is that it is a long way to walk from the ferry terminal but it was warm, quiet and friendly, plenty of hot water in the house bathroom. I would stay there again if travelling without my disabled partner as she couldn't manage the stairs to the first floor where the accomodation is.

everything was fantastic including cleaning of my room and bathroom every single day!!! I spent 6 days there. The lady is the kindest you can ever imagine. She let me to keep my room until night at the day of departure as no one was checking in. only berakfast is same jam and bread everyday so you might buy what you want from supermarket and put it in the fridge. but this place is really homey and cute. defiantly worth the money.

really nice house! it's like a home stay. Clean and spacious bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, with all things in readiness. The included breakfast was really wonderful. Only the location is not very easy to find. It is on the Lido island, not in the center of Venice. But the place is still good, quiet and famous for holding the Film Festival.

Definitely a great place! We had a great time staying at this nice bed and breakfast and really appreciated the kindness and graciousness of our host. Our arrival time was delayed several hours because of unavoidable problems and unfortunately arrived after midnight. She was kind in greeting us even though we woke her and quickly showed us the room and left the registration for the next day. Also she allowed us a late checkout. Nice quiet location on Lido if you want to be away from crowds!

Stay was quite comfortable and the place was easy to find and good. The owner was nice and the food was also good. I would have been better if there was internet available.

Dans B&B Livia Oliva vous pouvez utiliser la langue francaise. Always only English is boring and not a challenge.

Well, I just rememberd I was in Venice in October and I didn`t put a review for the place I slept at. I would most definitely recommend this place, it`s an old interbelic house on the Lido island, house is ok, clean, and it has all the facilities one would need. The lady was very nice, discreet, respectful and if you are not fluent in Italian, you can manage to talk to her in a mixture of languages (I used Italian, English, French Spanish and Romanian :P ) Breakfast is verrry good,

Good place to stay. The owner is friendly and helpful. Do remember that this B&B is on the island Lido and is quite a way from the bus and rail stations. Although St Marks is only a shortish boat trip.

The woman who works there is just amazing. Breakfast was the best, we ever got in Italy. Nice and big rooms. Even bigger than most of the 6 - 8 bed hostel rooms. Location in Lido is pretty nice. It's a short way to the next vaporetto (waterbus) station (3 min by bus / 10 if you walk). So you can reach the heart of Venice in about 20 - 25 minutes. Vaporetto takes off all night, so you won't get a problem if you wanna make party etc. Clean rooms! Would stay here again, if back in Venice.

Great place! Hostess is very friendly and helpful. She even provides a good continental breakfast each morning. Only downsides were that Venice in Summer/Autumn has mosquitos (this B&B has no a/c or screens) and the one shared bathroom can be a bottleneck in the mornings.

This is wonderful place to go if the Venice's crowded insanity is not for you. Located in a beautiful house just 2 bus stops away from 'water-tram' station in Lido island, this B&B was one of the best place for me to rest along with magnificent atmosphere around the place. I would totally come back there some day!
