Very clean and modern. Not a flaw to be found. Highly recommend.

this is a quiet, peaceful country hostel for walkers & trekkers who want to see the countryside around Drumnadrochit. The rooms are cabins with ensuite bathrooms, clean and comfortable. The kitchen and lounge are well equipped and clean. there is wifi in the lounge. There are no nearby shops, and if not driving or walking to the hostel, you would need to take a bus from Drunmadrochit village. If you have a UK credit/debit card Asda.com (supermarket) will deliver food, drinks, cigarettes!

Although the bedroom was fairly clean the shared kitchen was filthy with an overflowing open bin and 3 fridges full of out of date food. This meant that the place was full of flies. When this was brought to the attention of the staff they took a day to action any cleaning. We could not prepare food there and had to eat out. It is a pity as the location is excellent and the furnishings are new but it requires a good clean.

They offered us up grade due to being busy , lovely log cabin . To be honest theres lack of activities nearby and you cant actually go to the lake . You need to drive for 23 miles to find exit . So it can be very boring if it wasnt for lush greenery and benleva hotel restaurant !!! Visit !

Didn't realize I'd signed us up to sleep in little buildings that look like hobbit holes! Such a pleasant surprise! Right outside our door was a beautiful stream. It was nice and quiet at night and a key code lock on the door made us feel very safe. The kitchen was pretty large and had a full-size fidge and everything you need to cook. Only complaint is that there were no lockers we could see, and no space for your bag in the room. Room was very cramped for 6, we just had 3 taken and were fine

In our case, the room was a tiny bungalow with uncomfortable beds. To reach the bed you must cross the dark road. And to get the toilet and showers you must walk in the grass, in fact, this is not a hostel, is a camping. The WiFi is awful. Hopefully, you sleep close to a quite river.

Cheap and cheerful, probably best suited to large groups travelling together.

We only stayed at the Hostel one night but the rooms were of excellent quality- incredibly clean and well furnished, and the facilities were brilliant (especially the large kitchen). I would reccommend this Hostel to anyone staying in the Lochness area.
