The worst hotel that we have seen while travelling through Peru and Bolivia for 2,5 months. Hotel looks very very old and tired, furniture, walls, everything. The worst thing however is the mold.. everywhere in the bathroom.. really disgusting..and dangerous. Not saying that unfriendly staff was ignoring us when we arrived as they claimed they did not have our booking.. They found it after 15 mins of waiting.... not saying sorry for anything.. and the price, a lot higher that average for nth

If you want a calm and relaxed stay in Sucre, Hostal Cruz de Popayan is the place to be. The rooms are very clean and quiet, and the staff is really helpful and kind. We spent a whole week in the hostel, and had the opportunity to use two different rooms. Both were very good and with private bathroom. Rooms have also an independent security safe which is a plus. Certainly recommend it.
