About

Discover the true spirit of Sucre at Old House, a charming and rustic hostel just a short walk from the main square. Our place is a cozy old home with a peaceful vibe — the perfect spot to relax after exploring the historic streets of the city.

The patio, though small, is a lovely chill-out area where you can enjoy a coffee, read a book, get some work done or connect with fellow travelers. We are a new project, run by friendly locals who love to help guests make the most of their time in Sucre and in Bolivia.

If you’re looking for a relaxed atmosphere, a social touch, and a location close to everything that matters, then Old House is your perfect base. Museums, markets, colonial architecture… all within easy reach in the beautiful “White City”.

Good stay. Lovely garden to relax in, able to check in and check out late which is amazing if you are travelling by bus. Kitchen is good for cooking. Showers are hot and good pressure but get really dirty and flooded which isn’t nice. Toilets aren’t the most private.

The cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in in Peru! Staff were lovely and accommodated an early check in following a night bus, the rooms were spacious and not overcrowded. Beds were comfortable with the option of extra blankets if needed for the chilly nights! Walkable distance to everything apart from the bus terminal. I liked the idea of having a water refill station at 2Bs per litre, although not always accessible. I’d like to see some private changing rooms by the showers as means of improvement.
