i stayed in the standard double bed private for 2 nights here. the room was big and very clean. the owner couple was very helpful and friendly. definitely will come here again. if ur concern is the distance to the beach then u cud always rent a bike nearby or use the tuk tuk. i was very satisfied with this place. i enjoyed very much the company of \"TARO\"..

This hostel was the best you can get for your money. It seems that cleanliness is very important to the hosts. They also were much helpfull in directing us towards the main attractions of this beautifull place. Some will say that the walk to the beach is a long 20 minutes but don,t let this dissuade you because there,s so much to look at during that walk that all of a sudden, you,re at the hostel. A big thank-you to Charlie and his wife and if I ever go back to Ao-Nang, you have my booking.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was very nice and cleaned every day. The dvds were a nice touch too. It is a bit of a walk to the beach front it took us 20-25 minutes, but it is a nice walk and you get to see alot more that way. There aren,t any computers in the guesthouse but there are plenty of internet cafes about.

It was a little off the main strip but further up from the beach. Overall, would probably try to find another place before going back there. The staff was great

We ended up extending our stay 2 extra nights. The owners were very friendly and easy-going. The hotel is very clean and a comfortable stay. The other reviews complaining about not being near the beach? Don't worry about it! It is only a 10-15 minute walk and it's nice to walk along the main road and look at all the food stalls and shops along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this nice little hotel :)

We loved Baan Taveesri. Charlie and Jaeb were wonderful. They gave us great advice on the best day trips. Very tasty breakfast. Great views of the cliffs from the balcony. Very, very clean. Tasty and cheap Thai restaurant two doors down. Close to a 7-11. Don't let the 15 minute walk to the beach turn you off from this place (you can take a tuk-tuk for 20-30 TBH per person). Very quiet. We booked for 3 days but decided to stay for 6 days. - M&K

This was my best stay in thailand ever(for the price I paid). Awesome location!! All you can see around is beautiful green mountains. Not so far from the downtown. Tuk-tuk for 30 baht and its more like a hotel transfer from the city. Just like a place anyone would look for a peaceful holiday. Very friendly owner and his dog. A very decent restaurant serving delicious thai food at a cheaper price, right next door. I would def. recommend this place to anyone who'd ask my feedback. Cheers Avinash

Very clean and nice. Staff was helpful to give advice on day trips etc. As mentioned by others, location is a bit out of the way, but it's an easy 10-15 min walk to the beach.
