Met some awesome people in the room and while chilling on the 2nd floor. The staff very helpful. They were always able to help me. Staff speaks very well English. The buffet breakfast wasn't the best food, but quite convenient and the staff there were nice as well. Location is alright. Not too far from station by walk and not too far from Gion . Busses and subways can bring you were ever you need . The hostel is super clean! Showers on every floor .

fun people, with a convenient bar/cafe on the first floor to met and catch up with people. also a second floor lobby, but didn't use this. tons of useful information posted everywhere and a knowledgeable staff. fun people for all 4 days of my stay. and easy cheap bike rentals available at the front desk. a quick 5 minute walk to the subway. Gion 2 stops away and sanjo street three.

I spent 2 nights here in a 6 beds mixed room. Totally satisfied (^_^). The staff is friendly. The hostel is near Kyoto station which is very convenient for travelers. The room was very clean. I love the common room with free coffee and cooking facilities. Note that you need to bring your own shampoo, soap and towel cause the hostel does not provide them for free. It's not a big problem because in Japan it's easy to find a convenient store with all your needs.

All things is good. If curtain around the bed can be provided, that would be better.

I booked for 2 nights and plan to stay for 3 weeks =) Love everything about it, I'm extremeley comfortable here. Kitchens are very well equipped, bathrooms are perfect, bar is very nice, big lockers in the rooms are a huge plus, full body mirrors in the 4 bed dorms are great! Commons areas are spacious and very confortable too, they even have good outdoors spaces. Staff has been awesome! Thank you!

I really enjoyed staying there. It was almost as staying at a real hotel instead of a hostel. I'm looking forwards for the next time.

If I could rate 200% I would. Everything about K's house is fantastic, if you don't stay here when you come to Tokyo then you're missing out!

Stayed in the 3-person private. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and hotel-feel of this hostel. My stay was brief but their facilities, staff and location were all great. Electronic key card access was a nice bonus! I was a bit disappointed that the private room included a bunk bed rather then 3 separates - but it was a well made wooden bunk bed, so it wasn't too bad. The fluffy comforter made up for this! :)
