I spent 2 nights here in a 6 beds mixed room. Totally satisfied (^_^). The staff is friendly. The hostel is near Kyoto station which is very convenient for travelers. The room was very clean. I love the common room with free coffee and cooking facilities. Note that you need to bring your own shampoo, soap and towel cause the hostel does not provide them for free. It's not a big problem because in Japan it's easy to find a convenient store with all your needs.

I booked for 2 nights and plan to stay for 3 weeks =) Love everything about it, I'm extremeley comfortable here. Kitchens are very well equipped, bathrooms are perfect, bar is very nice, big lockers in the rooms are a huge plus, full body mirrors in the 4 bed dorms are great! Commons areas are spacious and very confortable too, they even have good outdoors spaces. Staff has been awesome! Thank you!

Stayed in the 3-person private. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and hotel-feel of this hostel. My stay was brief but their facilities, staff and location were all great. Electronic key card access was a nice bonus! I was a bit disappointed that the private room included a bunk bed rather then 3 separates - but it was a well made wooden bunk bed, so it wasn't too bad. The fluffy comforter made up for this! :)

very close of the mijajima ferry terminal but not located in tyhe island itself. 20-30 min from Hiroshima by train. good enough for 1 night but not more. Building without any character (unpainted concrete walls), dorms separated with curtains only, which did not ensure enough privacy and quiet.

We had a very nice stay at Kyoto K's House. Room was fine, hostel is well equipped and offers lots of facilities. Staff is also really friendly and helpful ! The only downside is that we had a long stay (6 nights), so it would have seemed normal, even for a hostel, to have the room cleaned and towels changed at least once during our stay (which is done daily at other K's Houses, so it was a bit surprising).

The best hotel we've been to. Great atmosphere, great location and super friendly staff. Our room (double private) was very small but clean and comfortable. Staff members had always great hints for sightseeing and restaurants. Never an unfriendly word. We LOVE K's House and also travelled to K's House Ito Onsen, which was excellent too. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay!!!

I stayed at K's House Kyoto with my 3 other colleagues for a night and we were very satisfied. The hostel was very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommended this hostel when you are planning to stay in Kyoto. I also recommend their one day Mt. Fuji Tour. It is the most affordable Mt. Fuji tour.

Staying in this hotel made us feel very lucky. The most impressive one is the cleaniess. Very clean for sure. sound-insulated effect is excellent as well. Besides, the staffs here was polite and nice. I would stay here if I come to Kyoto again.

Great staff and a lovely hostel. However, when there are two of you travelling and you have a private room, the price is getting close to that of a hotel.

Do prepare to put bedlinen yourself and also bring your own towel, toiletries etc as you are really just paying for the room. Almost everything else needs money. Other than that, do prepare to walk a far bit if you are on budget; it's about 25-30 mins' walk to Gion and 7-10mins to Kyoto Station.
