Staying at Banana Bungalow Hollywood was very nice ! :) staffs were also kind. thank you so much.

I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm, it was ensuite and it's own kitchen and cable tv. The breakfast was basic but good and the facilities and helpfulness of staff were excellent. My only issue was the noise at night, there were people in the communal area down in the courtyard playing table-tennis and screeching and laughing until gone 1am. Maybe the owners should put a cut off time for outdoor activities.

Great hostel located very close to walk of fame. Got ping pong, kicker and pool table :) Breakfast is ok but its free. Good atmosphere invites to hang out and have fun

ALL the staff were lovely besides a receptionist called Bree. Had a good stay at the hostel!

The best hostel ive stayed in so far in my 7 weeks in america. Will definitely stay there again next time im in LA

The room and the bed was clean and the staff were very helpful. The neighborhood of the hostel is nice daytime, but not very safe in the night. I had just one problem, about the computers... they stopped responding many times and it was impossible to restart or logout of the used sites. This way somebody entered to my Facebook account and made an inapproppriate entry on my wall under my name! I think it is unecceptable. I suggest to repair the computers, else the guests will go to another hostel

Very good hostel , free breakfast everyday , clean , nice partyyy , limo tour ; free diner 2 times a week , staff very helpful, good location : hollywood boulevard; VERY good hostel !!!!!! i really enjoyed stayin there !!!!

The check in was kind of a mess but the staff was so lovely that I forgot it immediatly. Very friendly hostel, I recommend it for every one !

The hostel was well set up with a nice outdoor area and courtyard. Could have had better bedding (the blankets werent good) and it was a bit of a walk from the Kodak Theatre part of Hollywood Bvd and most the staff weren{t too interested in helping too much

Female staff who checked us in was very pleasant & helpful. Another female staff during our stay was very rude & was not approachable or helpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I feel the only benefit of staying at Banana Bungalow was the location.

Nearly central, with an Metro+Bus connection within 400 meters away from the Hostel. Only 3 Computers with free internet access, but free wifi. There are free lockers in the rooms and a free continental breakfast, beware of your shuttle bus receipt (the drivers will only give you a receipt if you hustle them), otherwise you get no money for this transfer back !!!

The hostel is great! Definatelly a place to have fun! I've met a lot o great people and never felt bored because we always had things to do that the Hostel itself programmed. Some of the staff is very rude and make u feel like they doing a favor! But is great, specially if you're traveling alone!

Location and character are ok, but the parties organized by the hostel staff are really loud and up to very late in the night. The rooms are not sound-proof so if you want to have a good night rest, don't go to this hostel. Also, the parties occur on the hostel's parking lot, so you have to find your own parking space (in the streets) on party nights.
