its a nice place to stay, basically in the heart of Hollywood. just a few minutes to the walk of fame and one of the best Thai restaurants right next door!

Except for the fact that the first impact was terrible (wrong and not yet cleaned room given to us, two unwilling girls at the reception), everything was fine. Very good mood at this hostel, ideal to get to know to other people. Small bar/club inside, basket for playing basketball, awesome the bar where breakfast is served, biliard table, parking lots inside the yard, atm, ...! You feel at home. Located just 10-15 minutes from the walk of fame.

Frequentado por jovens e bem animado. Gente bebendo quase sempre. Bem localizado também, fica bem na rua da calçada da fama. Varias baladas perto. Tem Lavanderia dentro. Se vc tiver alugado um carro tem vagas dentro do hostel o que ajuda bastante.

Best hostel I have stayed at - perfect for young people who want to meet people and have fun. Definitely recommend! Great location, walking distance from main Hollywood strip. Free, very decent breakfast. Awesome nighttime activities including karaoke, free bbq and the night cruise limo. Took us out to awesome clubs and got us in for free. Winner.

The staff were friendly. The location was very good. How to use the washing machine and laundry was quite confusing first, though. I put $2.00 to buy a $1.50 drink and I didn't get any change.

The facilities in the dorm is great, complete with kitchenette, sitting area, place to hang wet towel and good water pressure, except the bed seem shaky and mattress was too soft to give back pain. Located in Hollywood boulevard street and near to subway station. Staffs were friendly and helpful. I have bad experience with the Disneyland trip that booked with them, tour center did not believe i have paid transport charged as hostel forgot paid to them, so remember to get receipt whenever paid.

Solo traveller, stayed in 6 bed dorm. I loved everything about this hostel! The name is what caught my eye when making my booking. The people I met, the organised social events, the kitchen/bathrooms in the rooms even a tv in the room. The rooms are cleaned everyday. Staff are friendly. Great thanks, I will be coming back and recommending :)

Pretty good hostel, lots of activities etc, the room had a small kitchen in it, breakfast was good. My only complaint is that the bunk bed I had was super shaky and whenever the person in the bed below moved the whole thing swung like crazy. They should consider securing the beds or replacing them with sturdier framed beds. The location was good (LA is a big sprawl though obviously), but there are a lot of strange people in the area!

This is one of the best hostel I've ever stayed in! This is litterally perfect, the staff was very helpfull and all the tours and activities were great ! I totally recommend it

Great location! Location and secure parking were really the best part of this hostel for me. The staff were also very nice/helpful and I appreciated the passcode security access to the hostel. Dorms were simple, but included a kitchenette and bathroom. Dorm bed was comfy enough, breakfast was available (cereal, bread/spreads, and coffee/tea), and the tiki lounge area was cute. It's not my favorite hostel, but I would absolutely stay again if in the Hollywood area.

Nice hostel in an excellent location. Been there for only two nights and I was a really awesome part of my trip!

The place is great, something on every night ad easy to get to places from there. Had issues with a creepy guy making the girls in the room uncomfortable but the staff were fantastic in resolving the situation and removing him.

This hostel is super rad! one of the best ones ive stayed at. it has the perfect southern california vibe, and is in a great location. subway only couple blocks away. trader joes also super close. The rooms are very spacious, equipped with kitchen space. I really liked the tiki lounge as well. the place has everything you need and more. will definitely stay there again when i go back to los angeles.

I really enjoyed my time in Banana Bungalow. The hostel is nice. They clean the rooms everyday and try to organize different events. Especially Tuesday nights are great, lots of free food and drinks. Some nights are really fun but some nights can be very quiet too. The only problem is the location. Hollywood is really not a nice area to stay. it might be a better idea to spend some days close to the beach.

Genuinely really liked this hostel, really glad i stayed. The staff were lovely, there is a massive courtyard area with ping pong, pool, TV and computers, and there are daily events on at the hostel like karaoke, party buses. Its a good place to meet people. I would go back.

I would recommend Banana Bungalow to my friends. All said!
