Honestly one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had - very clean common spaces and facilities, parking availability for a fee if needed, easy entry, friendly people, and a personable staff and a cool vintage house.

The location was perfect. I upgraded to a large room with private bath. The only issue I had was that the AC made a whirring sound about every 30 seconds. It was a heatwave in LA so I had to have the AC on. Even with earplugs and a pillow over my head, it was still so loud. I had to take sleeping pills to get to sleep and again in the middle of the night. I asked the staff and they said it was the pump pulling water out of the AC but I have never experienced such a loud grinding sound with AC.
