Friendly staff, close to the beach ... but faraway from the city and no air condition the whole day. That's simply not good enough when you're in the tropics. I'ts a pretty modern hostel and friendly staff ... but the location is very poor. Except if you want to stay at the beach the whole day which you probably can't.

Very close to Cable Beach, but far away from everything else. Need a bike or car to get anywhere easily in Broome. Great kitchen facilities, nice pool and good breakfast.

Shouldnt put travellers in same roomas workers! Found this uncomfortable as workers seem to think its their room.

The music they played was the same stuff over and over again!! Drove me insane!! That's about all I can suggest. Great experience overall. Maybe need more staff to cover the desk at times.

Beaches was excellent place to stay in Broome. Very hospitable, very clean and had everything one could need, ie. like bikes and such. I have to applaud the staff member Danika for excellence in customer service, she was excellent!

I was there in the wet season so there was not much going on. But I enjoyed my stay very much. It's clean and the location is great. I would definetely go there again! One of the best hostels I've ever been to!!

Just thought 6pm pool closing time was a bit early for such a hot climate otherwise everything was great and the food was particularly good and very reasonably priced. Thanks

Very pleased with how clean it is. Lovely bathroom! Under the bed lockers are space saving but a pain to negotiate when the lid lifts up & you cant open it completely. Professional staff. I was worried when I arrived & realised how large the place is but my fears (of a noisy party hostel) were unfounded - quite a few long term stays so everyone is up & out early for work. Good breakfast included in the price and great big kitchen - well equipped. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

This was by far the best hostel I've stayed at. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was large, well equipped, and very clean. Great pool and outside area. Didn't feel like a hostel at all but had a hostel price. Was able to rent a scooter right at reception which was fun and convenient. Right next to a bust stop and a short walk from cable beach. Would definitely stay here again.

For the cost we could of stayed next door at another resort and had our room serviced each day.It was booked out. We did not have any staff enter into our room for any cleaning or change of towels. We were a group of people [about 60] who travelled to Broome for a wedding. we all choose our own accommodation. Beaches of Broome was the lowest standard, the tiny of rooms and such low standard of fit out.

good location; newish, clean, bright, pleasant colours and layout; en suite rooms a bit small. apart from the personable girl from Shepparton who checked me in on first arrival, the desk staff were unexceptional - not particularly friendly or welcoming. Overall experience good, however.

I was very disappointed. I'm a backPacker and I've stayed in both budget and nice hostels. I could have booked the budget but reliable kimberly club but instead booked beaches of broom for a little more luxury. Online it had a great reputation, but in relitu the bathroom/ showers were grubby, the rooms were dirty and the outside tables were always full ash trays and sticky surfaces wen eating your breakfast. I was staying in a 4 bed all girls dorm, which hadn't been cleaned in weeks.

Excellent location: only minutes from Cable Beach and bars/cafes. REsort also has a pool and bar itself that serves food. Breakfast included, and rooms are clean. Newish kind of resort. Only thing I had a problem with: they allowed smoking almost anywhere, which for a non-smoker was a real drag!

Probably the most flash "backpacker" I've ever stayed at. Staff could be a bit more friendly, but everything was very clean, especially enjoyed the free breakfast!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. However when I entered the room the first thing that hit me was that the curtain had lost two hooks and was drooping. I mentioned it to the cleaner and the maintenance man, but after 5 nights it was still the same when I left. It is a wonderful setup, but I feel the the units and areas around the complex could be cleaned more thoroughly - and small patch up jobs done, like cleaning up the odd walls that have drip and scuff marks on them - nothing major.

I really liked the place except for the cheap and squeaky bunk beds...could do better on that score.!

Very nice, relaxing, clean, good facilities, great if you want somewhere peaceful but maybe not so good if you're looking to mingle with other people.
