No kitchen and the communal showers were too communal (though male and female were seperated). Although the hostel was not full we (3 mid twenties females) were put in a room with a 50-60 year old man. This filled the room and was a little awkward since space was at a premium and the demographic was off. We also got stuck in the lift (probably our own fault as we accidentally touched the door) but help was slow and unsympathetic. Do not stay here to meet people, location was good.
The location is perfect, coming from the central train station you cross the pedestrian precinct and reach the hostel/hotel within 10 minutes. It is actually a hotel with a budget rooms section, a perfect place if you have to spent a night between two flights. There is a good railway connection between the railway station and the airport. They have also two electric plugs with a shelf at each bed which comes very handy if you have any gears to charge. Unfortunately, there was no free WiFi.
