The location is perfect, coming from the central train station you cross the pedestrian precinct and reach the hostel/hotel within 10 minutes. It is actually a hotel with a budget rooms section, a perfect place if you have to spent a night between two flights. There is a good railway connection between the railway station and the airport. They have also two electric plugs with a shelf at each bed which comes very handy if you have any gears to charge. Unfortunately, there was no free WiFi.
There was not a good smell in the corridor. Staff promised to repair soon. For the rest everything was fine.
I was lucky enough to be ungraded from a 6-bed dormitory to a single room with a private bathroom. Needless to say, it made my all trip ten times more amazing. Everything was spotless clean, the location is right in the middle of town, and the stuff was really friendly. There's no common room and not any young atmosphere, so it wouldn't be exactly what you might expect from a hostel, but for me it turned out way better.

Very poor hostel, no atmosphere what so ever, staff not incredibly helpful, weird open showers onto the whole bathroom, no kitchen or bar area, no lockers in rooms to secure my belongings. Saying that it was cheap, clean and was in good location; fine for an early night in but not great for the solo traveler.
I spent three nights on a 4 bed room, but just on the first night there was someone else in the room. Since I wasn't searching for company to a night out, I found that really nice. I had nice room with a TV just for me. I felt like in a hotel. It's very clean and calm. Nice place for a rest, therefore not a place for party.
This hostel was good for a couple nights. Couple things I didn't like we're they didn't have any lockers for my personal items, the showers were open to the entire bathroom and the door didn't lock. At the time their wifi wasn't working. But other than that the beds were good and I had a great view from my window !
Don't normally stay in hotels but this was such good value for money.
Staff is somewhat confused but overall good place to stay.
Was supposed to where I booked but didn't find out that we couldn't stay there because of a WWII bomb that the city was defusing that night. No call or email instead we all found out the hard way that it wasn't open. That and I was out in a 12 bed dorm when I paid for a 6 bed dorm. This place sucked. 12 people one bathroom avoid it when your in Hannover.
Good place to stay; spacious room; good facilities (could have done with a microwave on premises); good location (bit too noisy outside); nice bathroom

Hostel is in the upper floors of a hotel. Was very quiet when I was there - good since i was sleeping there en route to somewhere else. It was very good for this, being close to the railway station and also cheap. That's about it.
This hostel has good position, about 10 min walk from Hbf. The room is big and clean and the bathroom is also very nice. The breakfast is not for free, which is acceptable. but the wifi also not free to use. 5 Euro for 24h? that is too expensive for the weak connection. Every time I had to go downstairs to get the internet.
Very good value for money, well equipped rooms, good and central location.
a nice hostel, it was a plasure to spend one night here, the only negative aspect is that the wi-fi connection is not free.
