Really clean, helpful staff, was nice to stay here!

The hostel was outwardly cute and not too far from the Bund, but I was disappointed with my room. It was very damp feeling, had some very large spiders and the bathroom was not clean. Also, they had no option for towel.

Was impressed with how clean my double room was. Great to have a western bathroom and a softer matteress than I had in many places in China. The hostel is a 2 min walk to the walking street around the corner. Just beware of extremely friendly Chinese girls with great english that try and take you to a bar/cafe/teahouse where you pay the entire bill. My only grizzle would be the breakfast. The 'American' style breakfast was a heart attack on a plate. So greasy I couldn't stomach it.

Good location , it is clean and good value for money

Overall it was great, cheap, clean, quiet. not much social life going on at all though and the beds are rock hard (as in feels like you're sleeping on a board), but overall fine. There are huge lockers you can use which is really nice, you can put your whole suitcase in them.

I stayed one night of the intended three...It was impossible to be there. Location was centric, but they never mentioned you had to go through a really dark and lonely street for 50 meters, just to get to an even darker and loner alley where you'll find the hostel at the very end of it. The rooms was basically a freezer, the heater would only work if anyone was on the room, so It was really cold when you arrived. Please get real beds, a blanket over a piece of wood is not a bed.

Great hostel, awesome location and close to everything. Staff very helpful and all English speaking. I will stay there again for sure. I've found the best noddles in the whole Shanghai across the street from the gates to the little alley that takes you to the hostel. Thanks Beehome hostel. see you soon.

The location is very good, easy to get there and close to new pudon. The rooms are clean

internet was not what good enough and freeport should be offered so international vister can use FaceBook and there emails as our busniess run on these services

Really nice place. Really clean and the staff is really nice. I have been there during 3 weeks in February. The value for the price is really nice. There is a bathroom in every dorm so you share it with 4, 6 or 8 people. The pressure of the shower is not good in every bathroom. The location is close to the subway. small restaurants next to the street.

The location was good because it is so close to the metro line. We also liked that we were able to get wifi from our room. However, the heater didn't work very well and the beds were very squicky. We also noticed that the cafe downstairs seem to be never open when it said it would be. When the cafe was open, it didn't have what it said on the menu. Even though the location was great, I don't think we will be staying there again. We have stayed in better hostels.

We arrived late in the evening and only stayed one night heading to the Pudong Airport the next morning. We found staff helpful and the room was good.
